Eid Al Fitr to Start on Sunday – June 25

The Supreme Court of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced the date of Eid Al Fitr will be on Sunday after several witnesses of the moon sighting committee confirmed the sighting of the moon.

The moon sighting today means that it’s the end of Ramadan and the start of the new month, Eid holidays will begin on a Sunday.

Meaning of Eid Al Fitr

For your reference, Eid Al Fitr means “Celebration of Breaking the Fast” which is the festive event to mark the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. This would usually start after 29 or 30 days of Ramadan.
