Saudi Residents Can Access Medical Records, Appointments and Virtual Consultations Online

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health has updated its digital services hub, giving residents easier access to several healthcare services online.

The Ministry says the platform is available to citizens, residents, and healthcare professionals, allowing users to manage many health-related needs without visiting a service center.

Saudi Residents Can Access Medical Records, Appointments and Virtual Consultations Online

What Services Are Available?

Through the Ministry of Health’s digital services, residents may be able to access services such as:

  • Booking medical appointments
  • Viewing medical records
  • Accessing medical reports
  • Getting virtual medical consultations
  • Using mental health support services

The Ministry also lists other digital health tools for prescriptions, immunizations, health monitoring, emergency requests, and personal health information.

Book or Change Medical Appointments

Residents can use the Ministry’s online services to book appointments at participating health centers.

The appointment service allows users to choose a healthcare center, select the required service, and choose an available date and time.

Users may also review previous and upcoming appointments, cancel bookings, or reschedule them when needed.

Get a Medical Consultation Without Visiting a Clinic

Saudi Arabia also provides remote healthcare through virtual consultations.

The Ministry says its instant consultation service connects users with doctors approved by the Ministry of Health.

Virtual clinic appointments can also be accessed through the Sehhaty app, depending on the hospital or health center providing the service.

What Can You Do Through Sehhaty?

Sehhaty is the Ministry of Health’s unified digital health platform.

Services include immediate consultations, appointment booking, remote appointments, medication searches, a digital health wallet, medical reports, sick-leave records, women’s health services, and services for dependents.

Why This Matters for Expats

For expats living and working in Saudi Arabia, digital access can make routine healthcare easier, especially when managing appointments, checking reports, or seeking medical advice without visiting a hospital in person.

The Ministry updated its main digital services page on September 7, 2026, as part of its wider push to make healthcare services easier to access online.

Residents can start through the Ministry of Health’s official e-services portal or the Sehhaty platform.
